Our old but newer-to-us farmhouse is full of DIY drama but I chose to share our master bathroom disaster because it's lower on the priority list since it "works". We're lucky to have a space called "master bath" in our old home. It's functional as it's used every day, but NOT something we show off. My husband has great DIY tile skills and we have beautiful tile floors to show for it in other areas of our home, but the shower in our master bath was his first vertical tile experience and it's a source of drama in our closet-sized master bathroom. YIKES! Black epoxy is not a decorative accent I can work with. The shower door quick fix, ancient drafty windows, patched ceiling, old vanity/lighting, brass fixtures and an embarrassing DIY oopsy involving the toilet seat - this space could go a long way with True Value's assistance and our DIY time and energy. We're die hard DIY'ers who love seeing our hard work pay off. I'd really love an in-home consultation and professional advice (HELP!) on making the master bath a relaxing retreat for Mr. DIY, something he can show off with pride (with some True Value Master of All Things Hardwardian guidance) and a DIY project that I'd be happy to share with my blog readers. For now...it's our little DIY secret. I'm embarrassed to show this DIY disaster area, but I'd love the opportunity to show off a DIY happily ever after! (Pardon my first ever DIY video appearance. I was so nervous - another DIY drama experience!) Thanks!
